Connect cPanel hosting

Your email is hosted with cPanel. Add a forwarder to your Venuo address, [email protected]. It takes about three minutes.

[email protected] stands for your own Venuo address. After you sign up, your dashboard’s Connect page shows this guide with your address filled in.

  1. Step 1: Sign in to cPanel (your host's client area, or yourdomain.co.za:2083).

  2. Step 2: Email → Forwarders → Add Forwarder.

  3. Step 3: Address to forward: the mailbox that receives your enquiries. Destination: "Forward to email address" → [email protected]. Click Add Forwarder.

  4. Step 4: Test it: from another email address, send a short enquiry the way couples do. When it reaches Venuo, your Venuo Connect page shows "Connected".

Good to know

  • Venuo gets a copy. Your inbox keeps every enquiry, and you can still answer anyone yourself.
  • The mailbox keeps its own copy: a forwarder adds a recipient, it replaces nothing. Don't use Autoresponders (they reply, they don't forward).
  • If the test never arrives, use Email → Email Filters → Create a new filter → "Redirect to email" with your Venuo address instead.
